MeetSheets

Meet

Most senior meets never put the age group in the title, so set it once here. Anything titled U15 Girls 800m overrides it.

Prints small at the foot of every page. Leave it blank for no line.

Name it, then pick the image file. Saved logos live in the season file, so they come back every meet.

Events

Type --- on its own line to draw the horizontal rule.

Name it after the event. British records are already built in, so most headers fill themselves — save a block only when you've added quals or meet records to it.

Wrap a wave in [g]…[/g], [r]…[/r] or … to shade it green, red or blue.

For combined races. Athletes keep their start-list order within each group.

Build the meet

Read the schedule once — it makes a page per event. Then work through the Participants list a page at a time, pasting and pressing Add athletes. Everyone files themselves into the right heat by event and start time.

Ignores heats and makes one page per event with everyone entered. Prep on those, and when the heats are seeded the notes carry across on their own.

Roster's PBs and SBs are left out on purpose.

Field

Power of 10

Fills the PB and SB for every race this athlete is in. Indoor marks are kept separate from outdoor and flagged (i).

World Athletics

Only reaches athletes with an international record, so it's for championship fields — at club level most of the race won't be found.

These aren't published by World Athletics, so they change from time to time. If it starts failing, open worldathletics.org with the Network tab open, find the graphql request, and copy the URL and the x-api-key header in here. If the browser blocks the call outright, put a proxy in the third box.

Athlete names

For dropping a middle name or shortening a first name. Their notes and PBs follow them across to the new spelling.

Club names

Applies to everything already on screen and to every start list you paste from now on.

This meet

Saves the pages, the athletes and every note you've written, so you can close the laptop and pick it up later. For a PDF, use Print and choose Save as PDF.

Season file

Holds your records blocks and every athlete's club, PB and notes. Save it after each meet, load it at the start of the next one.

Events

Combined events

Set this and the page prints landscape, one column per discipline. The schedule importer sets it on its own when Roster says decathlon or heptathlon.

Build from Roster

Same importers as the meet sheets — a decathlon or heptathlon in the schedule lands here rather than there.

Off by default. Roster's own figures aren't dependable — in your own export one heptathlete's season best was better than her personal best — so check any score it fills in.

Combined events time calculator

They run the last race together, so the answer is a winning margin — how far in front they have to cross the line. How big that margin needs to be depends on how quick the race is, so this gives you the whole range.
